Interior & Exterior Features
Thanks to the available dual-zone automatic temperature control system, you can drive in comfort. Both the driver and front passenger can set their settings, and the system will help maintain them automatically. To provide more space, the Ram 1500 Classic uses a rotary dial e-shift, where you can turn a dial to shift into drive or reverse. You can also add heated seats and a heated steering wheel for added comfort in the winter. On the outside of the pickup truck, you can use the extra space in the side rails with the available RamBox Cargo Management System. Weatherproof and lockable, you can store tools and gear for easy access on the job site. There's also a power outlet available to turn the Ram 1500 Classic into a mobile work site. You can also equip the Ram 1500 Classic's truck bed with the available LED lighting. Combined with the tonneau cover, it can make loading and unloading in the dark much easier. Other storage options on the Ram 1500 Classic include under-seat storage bins and even available in-floor storage.
Engine Options & Towing Capacity
When it comes to performance, the Ram 1500 Classic is equipped with the standard 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine and paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission. It provides you with up to 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. You can also upgrade to the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 with 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The available V8 engine allows the Ram 1500 Classic to tow up to 10,660 pounds when properly equipped. In addition to the available engine options, the Ram 1500 Classic is built on a multi-link coil spring rear suspension that allows for improved control and the strength needed to haul on various road conditions. There's an available part-time four-wheel-drive system for those who want more optimal traction. Depending on the road or weather conditions, you can switch between 4HI and 4LO modes.
Safety & Technology Features
With the available 8.4-inch touchscreen, the Uconnect multimedia centre for the new 1500 Classic supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to stream some of your favourite songs and get updated directions right on the touchscreen. The available 7-inch in-cluster display provides engine performance, fuel economy, payload and trailering information, and even navigation right on its customizable display for those who want more readily available driver information.
