Available Trim Levels

The 2022 lineup of the Ram 2500 hosts six unique trim levels, each offering a set of features that improves as you go up the trim lineup. Exterior Features

The base trim level rides on 17-inch styled steel wheels, while higher trim levels get 17-inch and 18-inch aluminum wheel options in various styling and finishes. The standard exterior features include black exterior accents, automatic quad-halogen headlamps, power heated 6x9-inch mirrors, and an LED tailgate hitch lamp. Going up the trim lineup adds features like body colour or chrome exterior accents, power-folding 7x11-inch trailer tow mirrors, automatic bi-functional LED projector headlamps, and much more.
 

Engine Options & Performance

As standard, the Ram 2500 has a 6.4-litre V8 engine that cranks out 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. Pairing with the standard engine is an eight-speed automatic transmission, driving either the rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive drivetrain. As an optional powertrain for all trim levels except the Power Wagon, the 6.7-litre Cummins Turbo-Diesel inline-six engine produces 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque. The 6.7-litre Cummins engine gets a six-speed automatic transmission, and it increases the capability of the Ram 2500.
 

Towing Capacity

The standard 6.4-litre V8 gas powertrain can tow 17,740 pounds, giving customers the capability they need to get through a day of work efficiently. Opting for the optional 6.7-litre Cummins engine increases the towing capacity of the Ram 2500 to 20,000 pounds, further enhancing the towing capability of this pickup truck. There's also an optional Fifth-Wheel/Gooseneck Prep Package, which adds mounting holes, covers, and a bed-mounted seven-pin connector to make towing even better.
